To confidently carry our students into the future and create new pathways for them, we have purchased a 40% share of the 136-year-old King's House & Moorlands School, which has a deep-rooted educational tradition. This enables us to implement a model that equips students with global citizenship skills and competencies while strengthening their language abilities through direct exposure to learning.
As an international school providing education in English at the primary, middle, and high school levels with the British curriculum, we began our educational life in the 2024-2025 academic year at the İzmir Güzelbahçe Campus.
In this process, we have completed all our documentation in accordance with the regulations set by the Ministry and have passed the necessary inspections.
In line with the objectives we set out at the beginning of this journey, our students will have great advantages and opportunities in their international education careers with the credentials they receive from our internationally recognized school, which will enhance their language skills and make them confident global citizens.
All certificates and documents issued by our school are recognized and will provide significant advantages for our students in their overseas education careers.
Request InfoAs a result of one year of intensive infrastructure work, King’s House & Moorlands Turkey, our international school, has started its services in the 2024-2025 academic year with 80 students in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Our teaching staff consists of foreign teachers. Additionally, our teachers participate in classes at our school in England, while teachers from our English school also come to Turkey to teach. This situation ensures continuous knowledge exchange and a synchronized structure within our educational team.
The education system at our international school is implemented exactly as it is in England, in English. King’s House & Moorlands School students receive a total of 700 hours of English education over one academic year. In addition, unlike in Turkey, England has approximately 50 days of Christmas and Easter holidays. We implement this period in our school as a Turkish and English support program. This program is designed to provide 125 hours of English and 125 hours of Turkish, amounting to a total of 300 hours of support.
Furthermore, the Ministry of National Education (MEB) curriculum has been successfully integrated into our system, allowing students to follow a dual curriculum and earn dual diplomas at the end of the educational program. Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, grades 3 and 10 will also be included in the system.
Throughout the year, our students have had the opportunity to travel to England and attend full-time classes five days a week at King's House School Morlands. During their education, they observed the educational standards received by their peers in a different country and had the chance to interact with students from various cultures. By experiencing different sports disciplines, they have gained diverse perspectives. These two-week intensive programs not only enriched their English skills but also broadened our students' viewpoints. This has proven how Ozkaya International has a rightful vision by achieving its set goals.
All students of Oğuzhan Özkaya (K-11) may continue their education in England for one academic year or a single term, starting from any level. Having a 136-year history in education, King's House & Moorlands Schools aim for excellence in education and provide training that significantly contributes to students’ university careers. Additionally, students studying in England are in a very advantageous position during university admission processes.
As of January this year, our student Aras Meriç from Karabağlar Science High School will continue his education at our school in England. The planning of this process (visa applications, family accommodation, school registration, academic monitoring) is managed by the Ozkaya International Coordination team.
